The Yorkville Elite EL24S is a groundbreaking professional 24-inch powered subwoofer designed to deliver exceptionally deep, powerful low-frequency performance for demanding live sound and professional audio applications. As the world's first 24-inch active subwoofer for live sound, the EL24S combines massive low-frequency output with Yorkville's proven engineering and rugged professional construction.
At the heart of the EL24S is a massive 24-inch neodymium woofer with a 6-inch (152 mm) voice coil, providing the displacement and power handling required to reproduce extremely deep bass at high output levels. The system delivers 5,000 watts of peak power and 2,500 watts of program power, with a maximum SPL of 143 dB peak and 137 dB continuous.
With a frequency response of 30 Hz–100 Hz, the EL24S reaches the lowest frequencies required for concert sound, touring systems, large-format PA applications, festivals, and other bass-intensive productions. An onboard limiter provides system protection while maintaining consistent performance at high output levels.
The rear panel provides two XLR/1/4-inch combo inputs, full-range parallel XLR outputs, and high-passed XLR outputs for flexible integration with professional sound systems. PowerCON® TRUE1-compatible input and output connectors provide secure power connections suitable for professional production environments.
The rugged enclosure is constructed from 15 mm birch plywood and finished with textured paint for long-term durability. Integrated casters and multiple bar handles make the large-format cabinet easier to transport and position, while top and side pole-mount adapters provide additional system configuration options.
Proudly manufactured at the Yorkville factory outside Toronto, Canada, the EL24S is designed for professionals who demand maximum low-frequency output from a self-powered subwoofer.
