The Mackie Thump12A is a powerful and portable 12-inch powered PA loudspeaker designed to deliver impressive sound quality, deep bass, and dependable performance for mobile DJs, live bands, houses of worship, corporate events, and portable sound reinforcement. Featuring 1300 watts of peak system power, a high-output 12-inch woofer, and a 1.4-inch titanium compression driver, the Thump12A produces rich lows, detailed mids, and crisp highs with maximum SPLs up to 126 dB.
Powered by Mackie's Dynamic Bass Response™ technology, the Thump12A delivers punchy, chest-thumping low frequencies while maintaining excellent clarity throughout the frequency spectrum. Its built-in 2-channel mixer features two Vita™ microphone preamps with Wide-Z™ inputs, allowing direct connection of microphones, instruments, mixers, or playback devices without additional equipment.
Four application-specific speaker modes (Music, Live, Monitor, and Sub) optimize system performance for various applications, while the precision digital crossover, advanced system protection, and thermal limiting ensure consistent and reliable operation even during demanding performances.
Constructed from a rugged polypropylene enclosure with four integrated carry handles, the Thump12A is lightweight enough for easy transportation while remaining durable enough for years of professional use. Its dual-angle cabinet design allows use as both a front-of-house speaker and a stage monitor, with standard pole mounting and tripod compatibility for maximum installation flexibility.
