The Yorkville Paraline PSA28 is a premium compact powered line array enclosure designed for touring professionals, production companies, houses of worship, and permanent installations. Delivering 1400 watts of peak power (1200W program) through dual 8-inch neodymium low-frequency drivers and dual 1-inch exit neodymium high-frequency drivers, the PSA28 provides exceptional output, clarity, and precision in a compact, easy-to-deploy format.
Built in Canada and IP54-rated for outdoor use, the PSA28 is engineered for both indoor and outdoor applications. Its rugged polypropylene enclosure integrates skeletal rigging hardware for flown arrays and includes a dual-angle 35 mm pole mount adapter for ground-stacked setups.
At the core of the PSA28 are two groundbreaking technologies developed by Tom Danley: the patented Paraline Lens and Synergy Horn. The Paraline Lens produces a precisely shaped wavefront that matches the horn’s coverage pattern, creating a continuous horn throat from cabinet to cabinet in vertical arrays and virtually eliminating comb filtering. The Synergy Horn seamlessly couples the output of the Paraline Lens with the low-frequency drivers, maximizing efficiency, directivity, and overall system coherence.
Simple onboard controls allow fast optimization for various applications, including a switchable high-pass filter for subwoofer integration, HF boost for added clarity, Nearfield mode for front-row coverage control, and array compensation to manage low-frequency buildup in multi-cabinet arrays.
Optional accessories include the PSA28BUMPER for flown configurations and the PSA28DOLLY for transport convenience.
