The AS-1 is powered by a fully programmable analog engine inspired by the legendary Prophet-6, offering 2 voltage-controlled oscillators (VCOs) with continuously variable triangle, sawtooth, and pulse waveforms, dual voltage-controlled filters (VCFs) including a 4-pole low-pass and 2-pole high-pass, and an advanced VCA, LFO, and envelope section. Sculpt your sound using 7 onboard effects, including Bucket Brigade Delay, Distortion, Ring Modulation, Chorus, and Maestro Phaser, plus a new digital distortion to add extra grit to your tones.
Perform with precision using the 13-key touchpad keyboard, which supports 22 preset scales, and take control of your sound in real time with the assignable slider for oscillators, filters, LFO, and FX parameters. Store and recall up to 495 programs, each with a unique 64-step sequence, or save your own custom creations in 5 user banks. The AS-1’s arpeggiator and 64-step sequencer offer advanced melodic and rhythmic possibilities for live and studio use.
Connectivity includes 1/4" audio outputs, headphone jack, USB B port, MIDI In/Out/Thru, and TRIGGER input for foot switches or external signals, allowing seamless integration with modular synths, DAWs, or other hardware.
