The Pioneer Pro Audio CM-S56T is a professional 6-inch two-way surface mount speaker designed for commercial fixed installations that require higher output, wide dispersion, and flexible system integration. Sold as a pair, the CM-S56T supports 8-ohm low impedance operation as well as 70V/100V distributed audio systems, making it ideal for restaurants, retail stores, hospitality venues, offices, houses of worship, and covered outdoor areas.
Featuring a 6-inch low-frequency cone driver paired with a 1-inch silk dome tweeter, the CM-S56T delivers clear, smooth audio with a frequency response of 80 Hz – 20 kHz. Its wide 110° × 110° conical dispersion provides consistent coverage across listening areas, allowing fewer speakers to cover more space efficiently.
The newly developed Vortex Bass Accelerator enhances low-frequency performance by optimizing airflow through a ribbed bass-reflex port, reducing distortion and unwanted vibrations while delivering warm, controlled bass response.
Housed in a durable IP54-rated polypropylene enclosure, the CM-S56T is resistant to dust and splashing water, making it suitable for indoor and select covered outdoor installations. The unique curved cabinet design blends seamlessly into modern architectural environments.
Installation is simple and flexible thanks to the included U-bracket with rigid notches for easy angle adjustment. The bracket can be secured by hand and tightened with an Allen key or screwdriver for added security. Additional rear mounting points allow for alternative deployment configurations in challenging spaces.
