Featuring 32 ultra-responsive, multicolored Performance Pads (16 per deck), the DDJ-XP2 is built for expressive finger drumming, cue juggling, looping, and effects control. Its durable construction and non-slip rubber surround ensure stability even during high-energy performances. DJs can take full advantage of Key Shift, Key Sync, and Slide FX touch strips to dynamically manipulate effects with precision.
The DDJ-XP2 introduces new pad modes for both rekordbox dj and Serato DJ Pro, including Transport mode, which assigns play, pause, cue, and pitch controls directly to the pads. For the first time ever, Serato DJ Pro supports 16-pad modes, allowing DJs to control multiple features simultaneously without switching modes.
Borrowing the familiar looping section from the flagship DJM-S9 scratch mixer, the DDJ-XP2 offers a seamless workflow for scratch DJs and performance-focused artists. Support for Silent Cue in Serato DJ Pro and rekordbox dvs enables silent track preparation with faders open, ensuring instant, clean drops during live sets.
